Use a computer running Vista to work through the following chapters:
1. Chapter 11: Setting Up Accounts and Maintaining Security pages 309-311, 316-17, 321-326, 330-340*, and 342-343.

2. Chapter 14: Printing and Faxing pages 397 to 407*. While working through page 405 use the Windows Vista Update file in your chapter2 folder.

Page 404 - Skip Sharing a Printer section.
Turn in the following:
13-1. After completing pages 309-326, Display the following windows on the same desktop at the same time (as shown below) before capturing and printing the desktop. Label print out Assignment 13-1.

13-2. After completing pages 330-343, capture and print the screen with Delete Cookies confirmation box as shown below. Keep the Internet Properties and Delete Browsing History dialog boxes open and shown on the screen.
13-3. When Installing a Printer on page 400 you should install an imaginary generic printer:
Step 5: Use an existing port.
Step 6: Select Generic from Manufacturer list and Generic / Text Only from Printers list.
Step 7: Use your name's text printer as the printer's name.
Step 8: Clear the Set as the default printer check box.
Do not share this printer. This message only appears on networked computers.
Step 9: Do not print a test page
After completing step 10, capture and print the Printers window as shown below:
13-4. When Renaming or Deleting a Printer on page 403:
Deleting a Printer Step 3: select the generic printer you added on page 400.
After completing Deleting a Printer Step 6, capture and print the Printers window again.
