Favorite Music Group

"I chose the band of Lamb of God because I have been listening to their new album called Wrath quite a bit lately so that is why I picked them. I have many bands that I listen to and consider my favorite so this one is tough to just pick one. Many will not agree with this style of music, but for myself I like it because I play guitar and this is the style I like to play and has nothing to do with the lyrics. The first time I heard them I really did not like the singer Randy because he is just screaming most of the time, but I loved the guitars so much I would keep listening. Over time Randy has became a better singer, but still has his unique squeals. On the new album he is even singing instead of just screaming." Lamb of God is an American heavy metal band formed in 1990 in Richmond, Virginia. The band was originally known as Burn The Priest and decided to change their name shortly after the release of a self-titled debut album in 1998. Lamb of God consists of vocalist Randy Blythe, guitarist Mark Morton, and Willie Adler, bassist John Campbell, and drummer Chris Adler. Since it's formation they have released five studio albums, one live album, and three DVD's. The band's cumulative sales equal almost two million in the United States. In 2007 the band received a Grammy nomination for their 2006 album Sacrament.
