Listed below is a list of supported file formats:
Some tools available for editing are exposure, color tempurature, recovery, fill light, blacks,
brightness, contrast, clarity, vibrance, saturation, tonal curve, split toning, sharpening, and lens
vignetting. There's actually quite a bit more depth to these tools but it would take a century to
list them all.
There are actually no resizing tools other than cropping. I believe this is due to the photographic
nature of the software. Lightroom is not able to create images and I think that's why this is left out.
One tool I do find quite handy is the ability to create a virtual copy. This way you can work with a
photo all you want and not worry about accidentally destroying it in the process.
As far as special effects and textures go, those are out too. This software is really marketed towards
photographers, not graphic artists. In this respect, however, it has some features that make it great.
For one, it has the ability to split the image, or show before and after side-by-side. Lightroom can
also remove smudges and spots from a dirty lens or an unwanted bug or object in the photo.
